Description

By design, looks like a harmless Terran animal of Tephnian times (thought to be long extinct now). Capable of imitating that animal's distinctive mewling, it rarely communicates in any other manner. But when it does, many are shocked to find its actual speaking voice is a monotonous bass.

High Tephnian - Tephnian society of this era was all about cementing its vision against internal rebellions and external threats. Recent advances in energy technology make it easy to research and develop high-energy weapons, so in response to constant threats, the Tephnian city-states begin to create force-stratum warmachines. Their success in this field allows them to expand their reach across Terra and to interplanetary domains. Many folks of the time regarded this as "rude" and "something that really seems like it will have larger implications in the future".

personality

Helpful (misguided). Inclined to help its operator, system admin, or possibly just a random person. Will attempt to do so without rest. Does not have a clear understanding of what a person's needs are or how the world works, but is willing to extrapolate some assumptions from incomplete data.

weapons

Controls five dimension-hopping knife drones capable of hovering at great speeds due to the combination of ***** science and tiny tiny micro-jetpacks. Each drone is named for a god from some pre-Tephnian society, but bare no relation to said gods.

Runs a subroutine that uses a rudimentary AI algorithm to append annoying phrases onto every sentence it says.
